September 13, the trail...

Well its time to unclogged.  I haven't had the time or inclination to work on the blog, but NOW I have both!!!!!!  We ben busy.  Where we left off, we had spent a long day in the saddle getting lost and seeing the country side.  Long day, but nice.  Today we were supposed to get back on the busy road for about 12 miles from Hudson tot Groton, then pick up a trail for 7.5 miles to Ayer.  But....Barb found that the trail had extended to Hudson and we could pick it up in less than 4 miles on residential streets.  Barb saw Kelvin in the hallway and told him of our plans, and he told her he was sticking to the map, so we parted ways.....and of course he was leaving an hour before us.  I must say, the route worked and we had a "lovely" ride down the trail to Ayer, so enjoy......

The trail was beautiful, quite no cars, and fast.

When we left people kept asking about fall colors.  I just said...."get back to you on that".  I am happy to inform you that with the drop in temperatures, the colors are coming out.  AND if you are attentive you can see them, although not necessarily in the photo to the right.
having fun taking pics while riding, getting the blurry effect (no not hung over effect)
I was proud to get Barb in the photo, by just holding the camera behind my back, even waving!!!!!!

I stopped for the next few.....

Hint hint hint FALL COLORS!!!!!!  Bask in them you may

Big huge wetland

We made it to Ayer, AND their ICE CREAM shop!!!!!  Okay, okay, we had a sandwich BEFORE  the ice cream.  Then of course you can see it was an overcast day and Barb had her psyhco pants on so after the ice cream, it was cold.  We seemed to get over that.

Another big high school.
And for youse guys....I zoomed in....fall colors.
This is not a trail, it is a road....
