We were given a proper send off....Dan brought out one of his buddies, but didn't catch his name.
Here is a quince plant. Very tart apple type fruit. Tasted like what we used to call sour grass when we were kids. Not something that you would eat, other than to taste, but makes Great Jam. Teals husband, Dennis, brought over. We had for breakfast! Great!
and then I could feel the music, religious experience
This is for Dan, note the lightweight construction and axle that is similar to the one in his "collectables" pile
Today was spittle and cold, never rained hard, so not too uncomfortable. we expected some rain so has planned a short 20 mile day to a private campground. When we got there we felt like going on, so we did. wound up going about 43 miles to a lovely bed and breakfast. We were greated by the youngest, Eve, who gave us big hugs. The we met Grace, and both of them wanted to help carry things into the house. We ordered out Chinese food for dinner, showered and slept well. I needed that as I published the last four days, the next morning. Now off to fix bike (seems like front brake is a little squishy). will get back to ya on how the day goes.
