Well imagine this, I am backtracking a bit. This young lady crossed the freeway to visit with us. From what I can remember, (and that needs a qualifier in itself) She was from Oakland Ca, but started her ride some where in Texas. She was heading for Nova Scotia, or New Foundland, of some other place up north. She noticed we were hauling a lot of stuff. We talked about campgrounds at which time she told us she was doing a lot of "stealth camping", i.e. camping wherever she could, and not necessarily in campgrounds. Had a nice visit then we went on our way.
You will have to excuse me, I am having problems formatting...... will have to look at other blog sites for the next trip. The program is not being as cooperative as in days past. Seems sometimes it is a text box...sometimes it ain't
We are off o our way to Freeport Maine. We are going to visit Mark and Eileen. I worked with Mark over 30 years ago. I have kept track of him through a mutual friend Gordon. So be aware That if you allow your acquaintances to tell Barb and I where you are.....we just might show up......

We had a wonderful visit with Mark and Eileen. the really rolled out the red carpet for us. The picked us up at the campground and scurried us off to there place where we had Brie and crackers with some wine as we watched the sunset. first a pic of the flower garden..... the rest is self explanatory. Unfortunately, did not get a good pic of our wonderful host. after sunset, we went up to the house for a wonderful dinner.
Slept well.
